Well let me tell you, it was great to go back to sweden after 3 years of not being there. I really liked it. Although this was the first time I've been there when it wasn't the summer, so it was actually pretty cold. Any ways, It was great that Dave and Nate came along. I enjoyed their company. It seemed like it was a hectic trip though. We did a lot of traveling. The first night there I stayed at a family friend's place and my mom was there too. It was good seeing her, and we all ate dinner when my cousin came over. After dinner, dave and nate went to go stay with my cousin on the other side of the city, which was malmo.
The next morning my friend Niklas came over and he drove me to go pick up Nate and Dave. We went to go see my other friends new store that he runs with two other people. It was called Impala and was a very urban clothing store. They designed and screen printed everything in house in the city, which was really cool. Johan showed us around the store, showed up how everything was made and then we chilled in the store for a bit. After about 40 minutes of that, Johan had to leave and the rest of us continued onto the Triangle. The triangle is a mall that has some pretty neat stores in it. We decided to go look at the stores and Nate and Dave each got shirts. Then we proceeded to go to the walking street and look at the boutiques there.
I personally love the walking streets and all the boutiques and I think Nate and Dave enjoyed it. The first place we stopped was a shoe store, and Nate bought a pair of new shoes that I kind of wanted, but whatever. Then Niklas took us around to the stores that he works for in the corporate setting. Some were meh, others were more what I would love to wear, but cannot afford. Nate and I were lookg at some guys style there. He was wearing a houndstooth suit with red socks and his bleach blond hair styled rather well. I would have killed for that outfit. I really wanted some Bjorn Borg shoes, and we went looking. Too bad we never found any that really stood out to me. After the long day of this, we picked up my mom and niklas drove us out to Lomma to go stay with Monica and Magnus. We were welcomed with open arms by Monica, and ate dinner and then Niklas drove us back into malmo because we wanted to go to a bar or something to go meet people. Too bad the night life was dead that night. Niklas had to go to work at a TV studio, so he had to leave us on our own. So we decided to call Monica to come pick us up and take us to Burlov Centre, but Dave's phone didn't work to call to Monica, so we had to take the bus back to Lomma instead and played some pool.
The next day, Monica had prepared a wonderful breakfast for us, which we tucked right into. Once that was done, my moms friend Britt came down from Helsingborg and took us all up there to see that city. We walked around there a bit, shopping on the old streets as well. Due to the such close proximity to Helsingor in Denmark, we could take a ferry over for a negligble price. Doing this we got to Denmark and walked around there for a bit in the old city. The Danish crown was much more expensive than the Swedish though, so we didn't purchase anything. Back across we decided to go, since we couldn't find our way to hamlets castle.
Back in Helsingborg, we went up the fortified wall and got a really good view of the old town on the water with Denmark in the background. It was a pretty good sight that I always remember Helsingborg for. We walked up to Britt's apartment, and said goodbye to my mom and Britt. We walked down to the train station and took a train back to Malmo and the bus back to Lomma. That night we just chilled in the house since we did a lot of walking during the day.
The next day we were awoken to another great breakfast, and Monica drove us to a new mall in Lund. While there, we called my cousin Rikard to come get us and show us around Lund. While waiting, we explored the mall. After a few days of shopping, we had already seen everything the stores had to offer so this wasn't as fun. We just camped ourselves in front of a demo playstation 3 and played racing games until Rikard came, which was like 40 minutes because of all the riots in Malmo at the time. He came, and drove us into central Lund. Lund is a college town with over 50,000 registered students. Of course not all live and go there at the time, and some are just day students. I forget how old it is exactly, but the school was founded in the 1400's I think. So we walked about, and Rikard explained everything to us. I've been to Lund before, but I learned a lot about it's history this time. We went in the church, which was built when Lund was founded to influence the south of Sweden with Swedish law since southern Sweden was under danish control until the swedes fought them back. Inside was beautiful, and the crypts were open too. If you have seen the Lord of the Rings movies, it really reminded me of the mines of Moria part, when Gandalf dies the first time. Really cool.
After a few hours of Lund, we had to go up to Helsingborg since my mom had rikards keys. We just ran up and said hi and got the keys and left back to Lomma to pick up our stuff and eat dinner. We had an amazing chicken dinner and we got our stuff and headed to Rikards apartment. We got there and decided to go out that night clubbing or something. Johan had told us of some good clubs, but Monica's daughter and son Anna and Bjorn (Nalle) wanted to see us too. So I called Anna, and we went to her place in the heart of the "fun" district of Malmo. Nalle was there and some of their friends. They're all 28-30 years old, and were already pretty drunk when we got there. We started catching up and decided go to a club called debaser. We got there and it was pretty dead. I had a few beers, but it was still dead within 40 minutes. It was also an older persons club, more for Nalle and Anna's age. So they decided they would show us out to another club. When we got there, they left since they were too old, but we went in and... wow what a club! I thought the one in Prague was the best, but this had an amazing DJ and the craziest light show ever. We danced until 3 am until it was time to leave. I'm sure Dave has a better story about the club than I do, but I really just enjoyed myself dancing a bit.
The next day we went off to Copenhagen. Honestly we had no idea why we were going. I know nothing about it, and we had no tour guide. So we got over there, and it was sunday, so there was nothing to do since everything was closed. After maybe an hour of that, and being cold too, we left. We took a train to Akarp to go visit Niklas and his family. Akarp is where I stay in the summers, so it's like my second home. I didn't recognize their house though. They were completely remodeling it. They basically tore down all the walls, and put up new ones in different ways, and had a new bathroom which was really nice. We ate dinner and I talked to the family, which is Annika the mom, Ingemar the father and Mikael the brother. It was good to catch up with them as I hadn't seen them in three years. Then we went out to go bowling with Niklas in Malmo. But first we saw a laser tag arena. We went in to check rates, but my ankle had been hurting me since Prague and I didn't feel that I could run or play. Much to our surprize though, they sold Monster Energy in the laser tag place, and nate bought a blue one. We then went bowling. It was a lot of fun. The first round, I sucked. They next one I bowled over a 150, which is like a personal best. I was really proud about that. After that, Mikael came in to drive us back to Rikards. We had to go to bed early since the next day we had to fly back.
So yeah, we woke up early and took the train across to Kastrup and flew back. Back home in London, nate and I had a few hours before the concert we had tickets for with Adam. We went to the concert around 6 and got there. I really can't explain how good it was. I really loved the band, Protest the Hero, and my neck still hurts after the show to this day. I was covered in sweat and just a little bit drunk. So this was a great show all in all. Came back at around, I don't know, past midnight and took a shower. I was so dehydrated that I stopped at Sainsburys and bought 3 bottles of poweraide, and drank all three in about 10 minutes. That was a liter and a half of liquid. Surprisingly I didn't feel sick. I just passed out in bed and woke up in the morning for class, and the rest is just well, school.

What?
So, Prague.
Prague was pretty neat actually. I enjoyed the experience as a whole. Although one thing that made me a little angry was the fact that we didn't have any free time during the day. I mean, we got to see prague by night, but I really wish that I had some daylihgt to go explore the city. I'm not going to go into full detail about the trip, but I will say that both Barbora's were pretty cute. But the blond one needs to keep her glasses on. Her with no glasses is a no go. It just isn't flattering. The lectures were pretty good actually. Some of the best that we have had, especially that one about getting jobs. Really pretty darn good.
We went clubbing one of the nights. That was fun too. I like going to clubs and having a good time. One thing that miffs me a little bit aboot clubbing with the SU Kiddies is that they like to drink... a lot. I don't like to drink in clubs cause well, you cannot operate. There was a pretty cute girl from Finland that I was talking to with for a bit, and met her a couple of times throughout the night. Too bad I didn't really think she was cute until I had left. I tell you, the number of times this has happened to me is astounding. I have a little too high of standards for my own good... maybe. So Dave and I went to some bean bag room at the club and chilled there for a bit. At around 4 AM we decided to leave and got a cab. Pretty good.
Presentations were mehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh for me. I really have a hard time giving presentations, but I hope I did well. I was just nervous standing in front of people. I am totally fine with talking sitting down, but standing up in front of people, especially when being critiqued can maybe lead to some sort of solid matter being released into my pants in the form of bricks.
The crystal tour was MEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ( I like this word =D) It's probably just me because I have seen crystal stuff and glass blowing before in Sweden. Then we went to the airport and I watched 2 movies that I had downloaded since we had UNLIMITED INTERNET! I downloaded 14 movies and a couple of albums. Made me happy.
Got back to London for 12 hours, then went to Sweden........ Onto the next post!
